Mine a plate in this browser
Pick a word, a number or a ticker spelled in hex. This page tries CREATE2 addresses until one spells it. The address has no private key, so nothing here needs to be kept secret.
An address holds only 0 to 9 and a to f. Spell o as 0, i and l as 1, s as 5, t as 7. Exact case makes each letter match the checksum, which doubles the work per letter.
Runs on this device’s CPU in Web Workers. Maximum makes the device hot and drains a battery.

Measuring this device. About 537 million attempts on average. Every CREATE2 address is a possible plate, so no attempt is wasted.
A plate is derived from the wallet that will own it, so connect that wallet first.
A pattern too long for a browser grinds faster in the desktop node on your own graphics card, or post a bid for a plate that spells it.
A long run is luck, not a stuck grinder. One run in three goes past the average. The workers stop the moment a plate is found or when you press Pause.
