Download the node
The Cadea node runs on your own computer: it grinds plates for your own wallet on your GPU, far faster than a browser tab. The app is a window for a desktop; the command line is the same engine for a rig without a screen. It keeps working with no browser tab open.

Start in three steps
Install it
Make the AppImage executable and open it, or install the package with your package manager. Nothing else is needed: the GPU is driven through Vulkan, and without one the node grinds on the CPU.
Connect your wallet
Press Connect wallet in the app. This site opens, your wallet connects here as it always does, and only its address goes back to the app. The app never sees a key.
Put it to work
Type the word, choose the start or the end of the address, and press Start grinding. The node grinds for your wallet only: a plate it finds is made from your address, and you register it on this site with that wallet.
The appAppImage, from a terminal
chmod +x Cadea_*_amd64.AppImage
./Cadea_*_amd64.AppImageSettings chooses the chain and how hard the node works: Low, Medium or Max share of the CPU threads and of the GPU. You can change it while it runs.
The command linefor a rig without a screen
tar -xzf cadea-grind_*_linux_x86_64.tar.gz
./cadea-grind devices
./cadea-grind grind c0ffee --owner 0xYourWallet --chain 46630devices lists the GPUs and the CPU it found. grind looks for the pattern at the end of the address, or at its start with --prefix, and prints a link to register each find with your wallet. Type low, medium or max and Enter to change the effort while it runs.
No key leaves your wallet
A plate has no private key: the address is made from your wallet, so the node that finds it cannot keep it. The app only ever learns your address.
Check what you run
Every file has its SHA-256 above. Compare it with sha256sum before you open the file.
Know the wait first
The node measures your devices and shows how long a pattern takes before you start. Each extra character multiplies the work by sixteen. Try a pattern in the browser
